On the 24th of May, the Finnish Minister of Justice, Ms Anna-Maja Henriksson, visited the Nordic Centre and Fudan. The minister and her delegation first arrived at Handan Campus where they visited the Nordic Centre and learned more about the centre´s activities. They then proceeded on a guided tour of the campus before driving to Fudan School of Law on Jiangwan Campus where Ms Henriksson gave a speech for Fudan law students and local lawyers. After the speech the floor was open for questions. One student wanted to know if the death penalty was still used in Finland while another enquired about farmers´ rights in Finland in relation to landownership and user rights. After her speech, the Minister became very popular with the students when she suggested that they all should all take a group photo together.
